About OpenTrackr
OpenTrackr is a browser-based productivity site built for young adults aged 18–35 who want clearer daily and weekly planning. It combines practical planning tips, a task tracker with calendar views, and local account registration — all without needing a server.
What You Can Do Here
- Read planning tips and use a sample weekly template on the home page.
- Organise tasks on a Kanban board, list view, or calendar in the Task Tracker.
- Register an account stored locally in your browser for personalised settings.
- Switch between light and dark themes to suit your workspace.
About This Project
OpenTrackr was created by Stefan Gislason as part of BIT503 Fundamentals of Information Technology at the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. It is Assessment 3, due 23 July 2026.
The site is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Tasks and account details are saved in your browser using local storage, so your data stays on your device.
